Classified among the 21 remarkable climbs by the General Council of Haute-Savoie, the Col de Pierre-Carrée is to be discovered without further delay. It winds over the Arve Valley for more than 21 km for a vertical drop of 1344m, at an average of 6.5% with passages at 11%. 21 kilometer markers punctuate your ascent by indicating the average slope over the next kilometer and your passing altitude. First step, measure yourself against the beautiful steady climb of Balme to access Les Carroz - 9.5km and 600m of vertical drop. The next section, between Les Carroz and the top of the pass, displays a route of 11.4km and 734km of elevation gain.
