Trisuit, unparalleled comfort
Regardless of the sporting discipline practiced, the athlete's outfit inevitably influences his performance. The more it is adapted to the practice of his sport, the more the athlete is comfortable in it and the more his performances will be affected. It is obvious that it is easy to understand. But the equation gets complicated when it comes to triathlon. Changing outfits during transitions waste energy and, above all, precious time. The ideal is therefore to keep the same triathlon suit throughout the competition. The trifunction meets these requirements. It is adapted to very different conditions.
The great qualities of a tri suit
The trifunction has become the ideal outfit for triathletes, whatever their level. Developed in collaboration with the most demanding athletes, it combines all the characteristics sought in both running, cycling and swimming clothing. For the first and the second, it allows great breathability of the fabric by continuously wicking away perspiration. Highly stretchable, it perfectly maintains the muscles and provides great freedom of movement. Aerodynamice, it avoids the parachute effect which slows down the runner by sticking to the skin, without compressing it for all that. Unless of course it is also a compression garment as some models can be. The flat seams prevent chafing and therefore irritation. In water, the trifunction increases buoyancy and accelerates speed thanks to its texture. It keeps the body cool throughout the event in order to guarantee the maximum possible comfort. Its lightness and speed of drying after swimming are also assets that the triathlete will appreciate during the effort.
Long sleeveless, the tri-suit has seen its last years of short sleeves appear, a trend that allows better aero-dynamism and also prevents sunburn! For long events like the Ironman, we develop long distance tri-functions (LD) that will help you defy time.
A skin specially designed for triathlon tri-suit
As with the cycling shorts, the practice of triathlon requires a skin inside the crotch of the shorty and the tri-suit. The triathlon skin is different from the skin of a cycling shorts. It was designed specifically for triathlon. Less thick, it allows the triathlete to switch from cycling to running without having to change and without hindering the runner's movement during his race.
